This French heirloom pumpkin is a visual masterpiece. The salmon-pink skin is covered with bumps which resemble peanut shells. It has numerous name variations such as Brodé Galeux d'Eysines, which means 'embroidered with warts'. Eysines is a town near Bordeaux, France.

Jack-o'-Lanterns: Galeuse d'Eysines is very carvable! The skin is soft enough to carve with a knife, the flesh is dark orange which looks great under candle light.

Not grown just for it's great looks, Galeuse d'Eysines is the smoothest pumpkin you'll every eat, with a superb flavour to match, it's one of our favourites. Many sources swear that the more warts, sweeter it will be.
