Height: 10 - 16"
Width: 10 - 16"
- When we first
started growing flowers back in the early '80's,
we only grew Zonal Geraniums. Although we have
branched out and now grow many different flowers,
geraniums have remained our specialty -we think we
grow the nicest geraniums and have the greatest
selection in the area. We have customers coming
from as far as Kitchener, Guelph, Toronto,
Collingwood just for our geraniums. Once they even
went to Ottawa by boat!
- Garden Performance
Every year more Zonal Geraniums are planted
than any other annual. With good reason: they look
great, are available in a wide range of colours,
and they are easy to grow.
- Growing
Guide
Geraniums like it dry, and they like to be
fed. Water only when soil is completely dry. It is
best to water first thing in the morning, and
water the soil at the base of the geranium, try to
keep the geranium itself dry. Fertilize weekly
with an all purpose
fertilizer. 'Dead-heading' (removing the dead
blooms), should be done as needed, especially
after heavy rain.
- Colours and Varieties
There are literally hundreds and
hundreds of varieties of Zonal Geraniums. We
'only' grow about 50 different varieties.
