    Where to plant:

  • In the Garden
    Plant in a sunny location, and this hardy perennial will gradually expand year after year. Maintenance free.

  • In the Kitchen
    A must for your herb garden, tarragon's mild anise flavour wonderfully enhances almost any food. It's one of the four 'fines herbes' of French cooking, particularly suitable for chicken, lasagna, fish and egg dishes.

    Harvest: simply hack off a good sized chunk!
    Preserve: blanche and freeze, or dry.
